Our Agency's Story
The Beginning
Meet The Owner
My entry into caregiving began when my mother was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease, placing her on dialysis and the national organ transplant list. I took on the new role as mom's care provider and managed all Activities of Daily Living and secondary conditions for years. Dialysis. Dietary Restrictions. Hypertension. Diabetes. Ongoing infections. Hospitalizations. I understand the challenges and rewards of caregiving along with the importance of trust, comfort and safety when finding a provider.
Those years opened my eyes to the needs in senior care. Professional Caregivers were underappreciated and crucial resources to help families were not being provided. Patients were just a diagnosis and their overall well-being was completely overlooked. I knew I had to get involved somehow and searched for a way I could provide the attention and time that families need with the standard of excellence they deserve.
Kind Care Connections is built on my commitment to set the standard. My personal mission in life is to be of value to as many people as possible; and to do so with passion, compassion and humor. Sometimes what's on paper is not enough and that's where the human element comes in - going the extra mile by connecting and building meaningful relationships is what makes a difference. When the work you do has an impact on the lives of others, every detail matters. That's why I bring every ounce of my efforts everyday! I truly love what I do and it's an honor to serve each family.
Jin is a Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certified by the National Council of Dementia Practitioners. Her passion is to raise Dementia/Alzheimer's awareness, and strives to enhance the safe and effective best practices in the field. She helps families understand what is happening to the brain of their loved one living with dementia. By understanding the brain is dying, we can empathize, adjust our approach and expectations, and be able to connect and communicate with people living with dementia.
